Disputes arising from labor law are generally related to labor receivables, valid termination of the employment contract, justified termination of the employment contract by the employee or employer, and whether the termination of the employment contract is based on a valid or justified reason. As a result, these disputes also involve the determination of whether the employee has earned their entitlements such as severance pay, notice pay, outstanding wages, annual leave allowance, national holiday and general holiday pay, overtime pay, bonuses, and other social benefits, as well as the employer's right to claim damages for breach of non-compete clauses, reimbursement of training fees, and cases of reinstatement and workplace accidents. That being said, in recent years, there has been an increase in complaints related to mobbing (bullying) applied by employers to their employees. Whether it is to protect the rights and interests of the employer or the rights and interests of the employee against the employer, it is important to seek legal advice from a specialized attorney in the field.

The introduction of Law No. 6325 on Labor Courts on October 12, 2017 has made it mandatory to resort to mediation before filing a lawsuit in disputes arising from labor law. If the employee and the employer cannot reach an agreement during the mandatory mediation process, they can then file a lawsuit to claim their rights from the Court.
